Rilson Nascimento

Rilson Nascimento is performance engineer at the Itautec Performance Lab. The lab is located in the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. He is also a Master's candidate in Computer Science from this same university. His areas of interest include database performance evaluation and benchmarking.

Last year he was accepted to write a fair-usage implementation of the TPC-E benchmark PostgreSQL in the Google Summer of Code program, having OSDL as mentoring organization. With this project he migrated from a peripheral position to become a core participant in the OSS development.
