Marko Kreen is software engineer at Skype, with focus on database tools.

I have been actively using PostgreSQL around 8 years. One of my first contributions to PostgreSQL was contrib/pgcrypto which i am still maintaining.

Here at Skype the company has generously allowed to open-source some of the projects I maintain: Skytools (replication / Python database framework), PgBouncer (connection pooler), PlProxy (horizontal partitioning).
