Josh Berkus is a member of the PostgreSQL Core Team and is CEO of PostgreSQL Experts, Inc. (www.pgexperts.com), a PostgreSQL processional services company. An avid database performance geek, Josh spends a lot of time thinking about storage devices, configuration parameters and why most web developers write terrible non-scalable code. He also does a lot of advocacy for the PostgreSQL project, speaking at conferences around the world.
